READING LOG DUE - 11/10 (Wednesday)
Monday - Fishbowl - I will return your notes. Proganda Techniques given for Interactive Notebook (Ethos, Pathos, Logos).
- Quiz over 8 Propaganda Techniques on Wednesday.
- Examine advertising found on two of your favorite websites. Identify the target audience and the propaganda techniques used by the advertiser.
6th Grade - Please bring a magazine to class that we can use in a classroom activity. It must be a magazine that can have pages removed.
7th Grade - Suppose you are a member of the school Technology Committee. The committee has been asked to present the pros and cons of internet advertising to the PTSA. Write a paragraph to explain your position either pro or con. Be sure to use what you know about propaganda techniques and target audiences to support your position.
Tuesday - Study for quiz on Propaganda Techniques tomorrow.
Wednesday - After quiz, be ready to discuss the advertising that you found on your websites.
Thursday - Respond to Fishbowl if not completed in class. Make sure you respond to all propaganda/persuasion information.
Friday - 6th grade - Be prepared to present your collages about propaganda. 7th grade - Turn in paragraphs to the PTSA. Be prepared to present your paragraphs.
