6th Grade and 7th Grade
Monday - Test Friday over literary terms that you were given last week. You will begin new novels on Monday. I would like for you to complete the first 10 chapters by Friday.
Tuesday - HW - Write the 5 parts of a novel's plot and give example of each using a novel that you have read.
Wednesday - Write one page (double spaced) answering these questions about your new novel:
- What is the geographical, historical and social setting? How does this affect the story?
- who is (are) the main character(s)?
- Who are the secondary characters? How are they linked to the main characters?
- What is the conflict?
- Who is telling the story? How does this influence the story?
Thursday - Complete essay and study for test over literary terms.
Friday - Test over literary terms.
